This
is so epic! The title for this week’s episode is Abandon God which reveals to
us the true identity of Rabou as the so-called God of Calamity. It was shown in
this episode that Yato was once fought alongside with him in the past. Rabou
really wanted Yato to remember about his old self which was then alerted by
Yukine’s call. Screw that Rabou! But I actually want to say that to Nora. She’s
the one who started all of these chaoses. What’s more, she is a shinki to
Rabou. Reiki > Furu > Furuhime; that’s her name. She is the baddest
shinki ever, cutting ties between Hiyori and Yato and later making Hiyori
forgotten about Yukine. Poor, Yukine…
Yato
desperately wanted Hiyori to remember him. He tried a lot of ways and put lots
of effort to it but the girl still could not remember him until the last scene
of this episode. Hiyori turned into her half-shinki as she tried to stop Yato
and Yukine to go for the BIG FIGHT with Rabou. Yato did draw Uesama in this
episode, too. So cute! And, Hiyori thought of Yato as a manga artist. Yato does
have that talent, that’s what I thought as well if compare to Yukine’s drawing.
Hehe…
We
already know who Rabou is in the previous episode. In this episode, Tenjin-sama
and Kazuma explained a bit more about him. Rabou once was originally a human,
served Misaki in his life. Misaki is a middleman who sneaked into enemy
territory and conducted all the dirty works and once the work is done, Misaki
killed Rabou to keep him silence. But it is not the ending of Rabou. He is
called as God of Calamity because by the name itself, this God hears people’s
bad wishes and granted them. He’s powerful, indeed. Even Yato admitted it that
Rabou has not change at all.
The
fight between Yato and Rabou was really cool but still lack of effects. It did
give me the excitement watching both of them fighting but in the end, it just
gave me a satisfactory feeling. I guess the excitement is reserve for the last
episode of this anime show. Ugh, I just don’t want to say it’s going to close
the curtain because Noragami is a fantastic anime. Not only because my
favourite seiyuu plays the main character her but there’s really something
special about the storyline which I really can’t express in words. Kamiya’s
voice really melts my heart no matter what character he plays, kyaa~! >_<
