Hi, there! It has been a while! How are you guys doing so far? Today I want to share a post on a new anime directed by Miya Shigeyuki who is also the director of anime Blood Lad. Ehehe... his new project is this comedy, romance and slice of life genre anime; BOKURA WA MINNA KAWAISOU (僕らはみんな河合荘) a.k.a The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behaviour. It is another おもしろい and a must-watch anime this month! ^_^ The characters are so lively and as the title implies, each character has 'unique' behaviour. The mangaka is Miyahara Ruri.
The story is about the live of a group of people living in a dormitory (basically a traditional Japanese house) owned by Sumiko (CV: Kobayashi Sanae). The main character in this anime is Usa Kazunari (CV: Iguchi Yuuichi); a first year student of North High School who decided to live alone. Therefore, he asked his parents to find a place for him without complaining where it would be so long as he can live independently. He was totally in shock when he first arrived at the dorm. of course, he met Sumiko and his roommate is a hentai. Ahaha... but a hentai his roomate is, he is a good person as told by Sumiko. Usa's roommate is Shirosaki (Shiro) and voiced by Shinomiya Go. This character is really funny! Usa first met him at the Junior High School area where Shiro had a peek at the students and was caught by the policeman.
Another main character is voiced by Hanazawa Kana. (Totally kawaii seiyuu!) She voiced as Kawai Ritsu; a quite girl and a senior in North High School. Usa has a crush on her when he met her at the library. Ritsu seems to love reading books and once she starts reading, she doesn't seem to bother about her surroundings. And Usa thought she is expressionless which turned out to be not that true. Ritsu is the granddaughter of Sumiko's brother.
Living together in the dorm is Nishikino Mayumi (CV: Satou Rina). She is a working woman who has a pleasant look but has terrible luck and taste when it comes to men. She has been two-timing by her previous ex; Kenji and this character has zero tolerate with alcohol. However, she was really cared by Sumiko and others in the dormitory. In the end of the first episode, everyone had oyokodon instead of fish when Mayumi came back. There is another character mentioned by Shiro who also lives in the dormitory. Her name is Sayaka Watanabe (CV: Kanemoto Hisako) which I am not sure she will appear in the next episode or not.
The opening song is by fhana "Itsuka no, Iku Tsuka no Kimi to no Sekai". The lyrics is very sweet and the ending song is performed by the female seiyuus of this anime (Hanazawa Kana, Satou Rina and Kanemoto Hisako). The title is "My Sweet Shelter"; a catchy song indeed.
