2014 Anime: Noragami

Ever wonder what your life is going to be when you are stuck between the human world and afterlife; and at the same time, meeting a God who doesn’t have his own shrine? It must be hard and confusing but meeting a God, I would say, “Ahh… kamisama irunda~”. I’m actually talking about a new anime airing this month. The title is Noragami. Noragami is the first 2014 anime I watch in this Year of the Horse. In fact, most of my favourite seiyuus are voice acting in this anime. How cool is that~ Noragami is directed by Tamura Kotaro. 

Let’s talk about the two main characters which appeared in the first episode of this comedy/action anime. First, the main character called Yato. He claims himself as a God but he doesn’t have his own shrine. He collects 5 yen in a bottle and keeps it in his jersey. That money is actually the charge fee Yato gets from the people he helped. Yato is voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi. I love love love~ Kamiya-san. Daisuki!

Move on to the second character; Iki Hiyori. She’s cute~. Hiyori is a school girl in her senior year. She is the one who got stuck between the human world and afterlife. It happened after she saved Yato who was at that time trying to catch Uesama (Milord), a missing cat. Her family owns a hospital which is the Iki General Hospital. This tells that Hiyori comes from a rich family. Her father is the doctor there. It seems like Hiyori’s parents love her so much. You can see how they really care for her in the first episode. Hiyori is into martial art and her idol is “Tono”. Teehee~ She is voiced by Uchida Maaya.

Overall, the first episode was really interesting and funny… The title for the first episode is “Ieneko to Noragami to Shippo”. The second episode would be “Yuki no Youna”… oh~I can’t wait for the next episode to be aired. So~ did you guys enjoy the first episode?
